Let’s innovate with companies in the digital transformation of business in the Kymenlaakso region – Students and entrepreneurs, join now!
The XAMK Digital Business Hackathon is an accessible, online 48-hour sprint for everyone interested in innovation and helping boost local Kymenlaakso businesses.
The hacking starts on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 5 pm and ends on Saturday, October 17 at 5 pm.
We strongly support local business and the aim of this hackathon is to help innovate and plan digital solutions for local companies. The solution could be:
- the creation of entirely new online services
- planning a system for online event organization
- designing virtual sales stands
- entirely rethinking online sales channels and a web-store
- or whatever fantastic solution your hackathon team creates!
Entrepreneurs and students, we need you!
We are looking for both local entrepreneurs (student entrepreneur teams welcome!) to provide challenges for the hackathon and enthusiastic hackathon participants.
Student participants will receive 2 study credits for participation, and all hackathon participants who are in a pitching team will receive a 50 euro restaurant voucher for food.
During the event we will provide mentoring and other help for idea-creation and successful team work in a virtual team.
From participants we expect an open mind and a willingness to work with people you have possibly not met before. Register before 13.10 11pm.
