VEKE – ATTRACTIVENESS AND SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTIVITY TO SOUTH SAVO ORGANIZATIONS

VEKE – Attractiveness and sustainable productivity to South Savon organizations -project has the goal of increasing attractiveness and sustainable productivity in South Savo’s SMEs and public organizations. The project offers new ways of support in leadership and management by going deeper into the participating organization’s daily practices instead of inviting the participants to join in on generic training sessions. The participating organizations are challenged to observe and evaluate their leadership practices, ways of working and to develop them to more functional and profitable actions. This is achieved by improving motivation and utilization of talent and skills by bringing in a wider range of employee resources to together develop in-house cooperation with the organization’s leadership and top management. The new way of business development and improved practices in communication will not only improve the participating organizations’ internal attractiveness to retain dedicated employees but also increase external attractiveness for future recruits.
Project tasks and goals in short:
1. Map out the status of participating organizations to identify their developmental needs, current leadership and working practices, and the status of their attractiveness. This is used as the foundation for choosing goals and training actions.
2. Help organizations develop their practices and leadership holistically by utilizing engaging learning methods. Highly encourage engaging all employee resources to be utilized company-wide in this development work. Help organizations share and strengthen well-functioning practices and to develop both leadership and working methods.
3. Bring organizations together to spar and support each other.
4. Continuously collect and analyse data, which is to be used in both the ongoing development actions and training as well as shared with a wider audience as permitted by participating organizations. Look for applicable ways of measuring the work, progress, and improvements to be utilized together with participating organizations.
