Based on the recommendation issued by Essote (South Savo Social and Health Care Authority), all teaching on Xamk’s Mikkeli campus will be arranged remotely during this weekend: from Friday 19 February until Sunday 21 February 2021. The coronavirus situation has worsened in Mikkeli, and there are currently coronavirus testing queues.
The Mikkeli campus library and restaurants are open on Friday. However, everyone is advised to use online services whenever possible.
Essote will issue more information and instructions on the possible continuation of remote teaching within the next few days. Xamk will inform its staff and students of the measures as soon as it receives Essote’s guidelines.
