​All campus libraries will begin to apply self-service hours from August 2017. At Savonlinna Campus Library, customers have already been offered self-service hours for a year. Self-service will expand the accessibility of campus libraries beyond opening and service hours, and customers will be able to enter the libraries from morning until night, and possibly also on Saturdays in the future.

Customers can enter the library premises by logging in with their library card barcode and four-digit PIN code. There will not be any staff at the customer service during self-service hours, but the premises will be equipped with monitoring technology.

Service hours at the customer service points of libraries will also change in August, and service will be available during the busiest hours of the day. You can leave service and guidance requests to us 24/7 via Xinfo or email. We will answer customer service phones during service hours.
