This Christmas Xamk supports MIELI Mental Health Finland's work for young people. The link opens to another page..For the third time, South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences Xamk is donating the money budgeted for Christmas greetings to MIELI Mental Health Finland.

The exceptional global crises have caused anxiety and economic problems for many, but children and young people in particular are in a vulnerable situation. Many young people have been left alone with their anxieties. This is why Xamk is once again donating its Christmas greeting funds to MIELI ry. MIELI engages in long-term work to promote the mental health of young people.

For example, more than 170,000 messages are sent to MIELI’s chat service every year, and only one in five can be answered. With our donation of 5,000 euros, we are helping to ensure that more and more young people are able to receive support for their mental health whenever they need it. At the same time, we support their opportunities to study and acquire a profession.
