Cup of Coffee with Game Industry Insider sessions have closed for this spring. During the summer we are having Cup of Coffee with Xamk Game Studios Summer Interns virtual coffee breaks every Wed at 14:00 will the end of June.

Wed 4.2. at 14.00 – 14.30 Jani Ahde, Game Programmer/Nitro Games Mr Jani Ahde, graduate from Kotka Game Programming degree program. Jani is working at Nitro Games and will be sharing us insights of his work!

Wed 10.2. at 14.00 – 14.30 Ari Hamara, Game Programmer/SuperCell Mr Ari Hamara, graduate from Kotka Game Programming degree program. Ari is working at SuperCell as game programmer and will be sharing us insights of his work!

Wed 17.2. at 14.00 – 14.30 Kim Ordén/Game Industry Professional Kim has worked in several roles in gaming industry (CEO, Producer, Game Designer and programmer). Kim has also own company and is currently consulting Huawei. At Huawei Kim is helping Nordic gaming companies to implement integration with Huawei AppGallery.

Wed 24.2. at 14.00 – 14.30 Damien Lappa, Technical/Environment Artist/Ubisoft Paris Welcome and join us for cup of coffee with Damien Lappa from Ubisoft. Damien is alumni from Game Design degree program. Damien works at Ubisoft Paris office as Tecnical/Environment Artist. Come and get to know what it is to work at Ubisoft!

Wed 17.3. at 14.00 – 14.45 Cup of Coffee with Verna, Venla and Sylvia from Rovio We are super excited about having three awesome ladies from Rovio with us on 17th March. Venla works as Game Designer at Rovio and Sylvia and Verna work as Level Designer. Venla, Verna and Sylvia are our almnies from Kouvola Game Design -degree program and we are super happy to invite them to join us for virtual cup of coffee with us.

Wed 24.3. at 14.00 – 14.30 Harto Kuukka, Fresh Graduate from Game Programming, working with Serious Games Join us for virtual cup of coffee with Harto Kuukka. Harto is fresh graduate from Kotka Game Programming and is currently working in serious games project related to child protection services at Meijän tukitiimi Oy.

Wed 31.3. at 18:00!! Pauliina Törnqvist, Assosiate Producer, Call of Duty/Activision Pauliina Törnqvist alumni from Laurea, BBA is currently working as associate producer of COD. Pauliina will be joining us on Wed 31.3. and telling us a bit about her work and career. Do not miss out this awesome opportunity to catch up with Pauliina. Due different time zones we will be meeting Pauliina at 18.00. She will be meeting us during her morning coffee.
