Xamk is a higher education institution offering studies in English in many different study fields. We have campuses in the towns of Kotka, Kouvola,
Mikkeli and Savonlinna, located in the beautiful region of South-Eastern Finland.

National level of competencies in Social services
The generic learning outcomes at Xamk comprise the following competencies: learning competence, ethical competence, working community competence, innovation competence and international competence. You can deepen and supplement your core competence by studying, for example, nature-based rehabilitation, media skills in social services or child and family-based work. There is also a wide range of optional studies and studies that reflect the Xamk strategy and are offered to all students e.g. entrepreneurship studies and digital competence studies.
Modes of mobility
This programme is available in the mode of exchange studies meaning one- or two-semester long mobility; not leading to a degree, professional interaction / training (the duration and the contents of the training have to be agreed separately) or both aka combined studies and training. Autumn semester lectures start in the end of August and end before Christmas and Spring semester in the beginning of January until the end of May.

Creating your OLA (Online Learning Agreement)
As an applicant you need to prepare the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) according to your home institution’s guidelines.
If your home institution is not using OLA, please upload the fully signed Erasmus+ Learning agreement as PDF to SoleMOVE
when creating the application. OLA Responsible person is Harri Mäkinen.
In addition to OLA you need to fill in your course wishes to the Proposed Study Plan section in SoleMOVE when creating the application.
