Welcome to Xamk
Xamk is a higher education institution offering studies in English in many different study fields. We have campuses in the towns of Kotka, Kouvola, Mikkeli and Savonlinna, located in the beautiful region of South-Eastern Finland.
Students from partner institutions of Xamk are welcome to apply to Mikkeli Campus either for practical training and/or studies in Social Services and Health Care.

Practical training
Social work
Social work programme can assist in finding practical training places for incoming exchange students in Mikkeli in the field of early childhood education, multicultural work, child welfare, organizational work in social and health care, day activities for persons with intellectual disability and youth work. Please state out the areas of your interests in your application and we’ll find you a suitable placement.
Also placements in the field of outdoor leadership, outdoor education, youth work or education are possible to arrange.
