Шведский язык для начинающих на русском – Swedish preparatory course (instructed in Russian), 3 ECTS cr

Learning outcomes:
You revise the basics and key structures of Swedish that are most relevant in the communication situations of working life and different professions. You can use different tools for learning Swedish and improve your skills in studying languages.

Contents and methods:
What are the key structures of Swedish that you need in your work?
How do you respond in typical communication situations?
What kind of tools can you use in studying Swedish?
How do you develop your language learning skills?

Assessment:
You are able to use the key structures and vocabulary of Swedish in written language.
You are able to look for information relating to the Swedish language.
You are able to choose tools that support your Swedish studies and personal methods of study and use them efficiently.

The aim is to reach level A 2.1 Swedish .
Assessment bases on exams and other course assignments. Assessment is detailed further in the beginning of the course.

The course is in Russian, but in order to study the course, you have to be able to use Xamk online studying platforms in English.

Certificate of these studies will be delivered 
 – in paper form for those who have their home address in Finland
 – by email in PDF form for those who have their home address in some other country.

This course is based on the curricula of Xamk's degree programmes and the Finnish credits are fully compatible with the ECTS.
