We are looking for students to do their internship in research and development projects in Xamk. Projects are related to 3D modeling of the new Kotka Campus, virtual experiences and in virtual safety testing.
Apply now! These internships offer a great opportunity to develop your skills with the help of the research and development project teams as well as other networks. The internship will be 100% remote for now, regarding the current epidemic. Following the guidelines from authorities, possibly later on work would also be done in Kotka Campus and in Xlab Kotka. You would have to use your own devices during the internship (BYOD). The internships are unpaid, but they will give you a lot of experience.

Want to create virtual experiences for tourists and visitors? The goal is to create a web based gamified collection of the regional travel- and experience businesses. >> Virtual port logistics
The project Virtuaalinen satamalogistiikan turvapuisto initiates the development of Safety Park for logistics safety training and simulation. The safety park physical location will be in the area of Kotka Old Port. The project creates a virtual reality environment for logistics occupational safety training and simulation.
