THE PROJECT STRENGTHENS THE REGIONAL AND NATIONALLY NETWORKED DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH ECOSYSTEM OF NEW BIOECONOMY TECHNOLOGIES.

The BIOGROWTH project strengthens regional and nationally networked growth ecosystems where companies develop and test new products, technologies and businesses in biotechnology.

Measures include strengthening Xamk’s Savonlinna fiber technology innovation platform and its partnerships. The project will produce a roadmap of imaging technologies for process research and development.

The project will increase Xamk’s collaboration with Aalto University’s research on wood processing technology and enhance international marketing of the Savonlinna regional technology network. In addition, a plan is to be developed to improve the RDI environment for solid wood construction.
