“A Digi-Winner – strengthening digital well-being to promote social inclusion”- project enhance the digital well-being of young people facing the risk of social exclusion and marginalization. The digital wellbeing means a subjective capability to maintain her/his well-being in digital settings. The project develops methods for boosting and advancing the digital competencies to support young peoples’ functional abilities, and learning and working life skills. The digital well-being program will be developed and the digital well-being assessment toolkit will be disseminated and rooted into the activities of the pilot and partner organizations.

XAMK South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences coordinates and administers the project. Collaborative partners are The Finnish Society on Media Education, Ammattiopisto Spesia and Etelä-Savon liikunta ry.

The project is funded by Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of North Ostrobothnia and European Social Fund. The project will be carried out during the October 1 2018 – December 31 2020.
