Performance of wood products against upcoming European regulations on product emission
Wednesday April 24th from 12 to 3 pm in Savonlinna, Teoriatila Kuitu 3 B015
The presentation will cover the upcoming requirements on VOC emissions from building products under the European construction regulation, the relevant testing and evaluation procedures as well as examples how wood products are performing against this. The typical substances from various wood products, short term vs. long term performance and process parameters affection these properties will be discussed.

The presentation is a part of the project Building cluster competence development in South-Savo. The project identifies the building industry’s competence needs and plans new learning paths and training content (e.g. industrial wood construction, building technology / building automation, renovation and other special construction) based on the needs. One of the goals is to increase the engineering and technology expertise of construction companies in South Savo, especially in the field of industrial wood construction and automation technology.
