One study place per semester provision

According to this provision, you may accept only one study place leading to a higher education degree in Finland during one academic semester.

The main principles of the provision are:

• You may accept only one study place leading to a higher education degree in Finland during one academic semester (autumn: 1 Aug-31 Dec, spring: 1 Jan-31 Jul).
• The provision includes all Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in universities of applied sciences and universities in Finland, as well as Licentiate and Doctoral degrees awarded by Finnish universities.
• Joint application and all separate applications are included in the provision, except for Transfer student selection.

You may have more than one study rights in the degree programmes at higher education insitutions in Finland if you have accepted the study places on different semesters. Further information is available on Studyinfo service.
