At South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, Xamk, learning is unlimited.
In addition to full scale degree programmes, we offer a variety of online and on-site study opportunities.

Xamk’s Tailored Education offering consists of different types of non-degree leading education, such as diploma, top-up and tailor-made programmes, summer schools, as well as Micro Courses and Educational Travel products.

Diploma programmes provide a pathway for students with a bachelor’s degree to advance to a master’s programme.

Top-up programmes are aimed at degree-holding students, who hope to earn for example qualifications to work in the EU area.

Summer schools are intensive programmes targeted for university students. Summer schools last from 1 to 3 weeks and provide ECTS credits.

Micro Course is a term used by Xamk for paid online education products with multidisciplinary topics. Courses are mainly short English-language training products focused on specific details. A Micro Course consists of learning modules that include, for instance, short videos, automated learning tasks and other digital materials (including image, sound, text, etc.).

Xamk also provides different types of Educational Travel packages for students, teachers, professionals and other individuals through with they can improve their know-how and skills in certain areas with different means of actions. In addition, we provide people with the possibility to get to know Xamk, our ways of teaching and our pedagogical methods.
