Announcement for our alumni! Alumni stories in English are needed!
Write your own “alumna/alumnus story” in the www.xamk.fi/xamkilainen blog by answering the questions below.
The idea is to create a positive picture of your education and Xamk as study place.
All the questions do not have to be answered if they are not suitable for your own situation.
The length of the text is max. one page.
In addition to the blog, stories are published on the WWW pages and social media channels of Xamk.
Please enclose a picture (or many of them) of yourself (in the jpg format, not embedded in the word file). Remember to ask the permission of the photographer.
Questions:
•BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Name, the present job, profession, place of residence. In which degree programme you studied and when did you graduate?
•STUDYING: What was it like to study in Xamk (or in its predecessors Mamk/Kyamk)? What was the best part of studies?
•WORK: What kind of assignments have you made after the graduation? What kind of assignments you have on at the moment? How did you find your present job? Is your work what you expected it to be? Which matters would be worth paying attention already during the studentship?
• MORE: Where would you like to work in the future, in what kind of assignments? Do you intend to study more, and
if so, what? What would you like to say to the present students or to other alumni?
