Xamk is organizing graduation celebrations for all students who have completed their studies during the summer, fall and early winter. The event will be conducted in a hybrid format, with a virtual ceremony available for viewing online, and graduates are invited to the Savonlinna campus to celebrate their graduation. The celebration begins at 3:00 PM and lasts approximately one hour. You can watch the broadcast at live.xamk.fi.
The ceremony will feature a speech by Heikki Saastamoinen, President and CEO of Xamk, as well as reflections from graduates across all four campuses. The musical performance for the event will be presented by Olli Halonen.
Xamk educates professionals for various fields who will contribute to the functions and development of our society. Since our last celebration, a total of 683 professionals have graduated from Xamk. In the year 2023 alone, 1754 professionals have already graduated, and this number is expected to increase slightly in the final weeks of the year.
The celebration broadcast will be recorded, allowing everyone to revisit the festivities even after the celebration day. The recording will be available for viewing, along with musical performances, until December 18, and without music until December 29. The production of the broadcast is managed by Xamk’s in-house media production company, Darcmedia.
The names of the graduates will be announced monthly on Xamk’s website and shared with the media. The lists of names for those who graduated in the summer, fall and winter can be found here.

Xamk organizes graduation ceremonies twice a year, either virtually or in a hybrid format, in the spring and at the end of the year. During these ceremonies, scholarships are also awarded to deserving students.
