South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, Xamk, is donating the money budgeted for Christmas greetings to MIELI Mental Health Finland to support the mental health of children and young people.
Today’s youth live in a performance-oriented and uncertain world. Swift assistance is crucial when the mind is distressed. MIELI provides low-threshold counseling for children and young people, but not all requests for help can be met. With our donation of 5,000 euros, an increasing number of young people will have the opportunity to receive prompt support in challenging life situations.
We aim to instill hope for the future and confidence in young individuals’ ability to study and pursue a profession. At Xamk, we work towards creating a positive environment for both work and study.
