We want to ensure at Xamk that everyone feels good in their studies and work. In order to promote equality, we have developed our own practices, one of which is the principles of a safer space.

The purpose of the principles of a safer space is to create a supportive and non-threatening environment where everyone can feel comfortable and confident expressing themselves without fear of discrimination.

The achievement of a safer space needs action from us all

Written, transparent principles support participants, facilitate intervention in problem situations, and bring out the organization’s values and operating principles

The safer space principles apply to all events, activities, and facilities at Xamk and should be respected by everyone.
