In October you will have the opportunity to explore what our research, development and innovation (RDI) work looks like in practice! The RDI Day will be held at Saimaa Stadiumi in Mikkeli and is open to everyone. The event will showcase key themes through interactive exhibition stands, demonstrations, and various activities.
The goal is to foster networking, spark new collaboration opportunities, and highlight the breadth of our RDI work from all focus areas and all our cities.

Introducing the speakers
Jenni Rajahalme
Jenni has delivered hundreds of training sessions and keynote speeches, garnering excellent feedback. Her unique approach to storytelling and problem solving is memorable and inspiring. She has nearly 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, working life, and communications development. Jenni knows how to engage her audience, sprinkling humor into her presentations even when the topics are important and serious. Jenni is a partner and expert at the communications agency Kumppania. She has also worked as an expert at the Entrepreneurship Education Center for ten years. She is the 2017 national chair of the Finnish Junior Chamber, part of the international JCI organization. The Finnish Junior Chamber is a network of 5,000 experts and business professionals. She has served on more than 12 different boards and on the boards of four different companies.
Aicha Manai
CEO, Startup Refugees
Aicha Manai is the CEO of Startup Refugees. She leads an international organization where 17 different languages are spoken; diversity is a key part of every working day, among customers, employees, and stakeholders alike.
As a Finnish Tunisian raised in a trilingual family, Aicha brings a unique perspective to her speeches, drawing on both her personal background and her diverse work experience. Her leadership philosophy is based on diversity, good-natured interaction, and utilizing different perspectives to build success.
