Xamk Worklife Boom -event on Mikkeli campus
on 22.1.2026 at 9am to 2 pm
The aim of the event is to increase visibility for companies and organizations operating especially in campus cities and within the fields of study on the campuses, as well as to offer all Xamk students opportunities to build connections with working life.
During the event, students can freely visit different company stands, allowing you to get to know each other in an informal and approachable way. The Worklife Boom -event is held annually in January on Xamk campuses.
The worklife booths can be visited on each campus on the day of the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
During this time, students and staff are welcome to walk around and explore the event.

At 8 am Worklife booths are built
At 9 am The event starts
Xamk students can visit the booths freely.
At 10.30-13 Lunch
At 2 pm Event ends.

CV/Linkedin photoshoot for Xamk’s international students!
The specific times are to be determined, but the photoshoot happens during the event on each campus.
Instruction for the photoshoot:
Wear business or business-casual type of attire if possible.
Solid colors often work best as they are less distracting, so try not to wear chequered/ multi-coloured or other designs
Ensure hair is neat and tidy.
Minimal makeup and simple accessories are usually best for a professional look.
Rest well to look fresh and alert.
Arrive a bit early to settle in and relax before your turn.
Remember to bring a comb, makeup touch-up items, and any other personal grooming tools you may need.
