Please notice that Xamk’s lecturers do not assess completed courses nor enter the course assessments in Xamk’s record of credits (Peppi) during their non-teaching periods. In summer, completed courses will not be assessed between June 1st and August 18th, 2024. 

This course will also be offered in autumn 2024. Enrolment for the course will open in June.

Note that you can enrol for Open UAS studies at the maximum of 50 ECTS credits per semester. One person’s enrolments exceeding 50 ECTS credits are deleted in the enrolment order. Paying attention to this is important when planning your studies.

Learning outcomes:

  • What are the objectives and role of customer-oriented marketing and relationship marketing in the operation of the organization?
  • How does the digital economy and operational environment affect the planning of marketing?
  • How is customer buying behavior and segmentation taken into consideration when defining the objectives and target groups?
  • What does marketing- mix consist of and how can it be used to reach organizational goals?

Contents and methods:
Students will study at their own pace during the course offering.
No live lectures or group work.

Tasks to be completed during the course and only during the course timing according to deadlines. No possibility to re-task any missed tasks.

The course is designed so that students can work through the course at their own pace, through each topic one by one. When each topic is complete, the next one will be available. There will be tasks to complete to pass through the topic. Each topic needs to be marked complete to pass the course.

No examination

The course covers 5 ECTS credits, totalling 135 hours of student work. The number of hours is theoretical and varies according to student effort.
