The second edition of the Warm Lights Film Fest is confirmed and will take place at Maritime Centre Vellamo on 31 October–1 November 2026.
The Warm Lights Film Fest is a cultural event organized by Xamk’s Integration Team in Kotka, in partnership with Maritime Centre Vellamo, to promote cultural awareness and, why not, create new cultural connections.
This year, the festival will showcase films from Sri Lanka, Finland, Germany, and Brazil, offering audiences a unique opportunity to experience diverse stories, perspectives, and cultures from around the world.

Admission is free and open to everyone! No tickets are required for the film screenings; entry will be granted subject to venue capacity.
Free tickets for the Snack & Mingle event can be collected from the information desks at Xamk and Maritime Centre Vellamo during their regular opening hours. Free e-tickets will also be available through the Kide app (limit: 50 attendees).
