Education Quality and Teaching Style

Cost of living
Although tuition may be affordable compared to many other countries, the cost of living in Finland can be relatively high. You should budget for housing, food, transportation, study materials, and personal expenses. Students are required to show proof of sufficient financial resources when applying for a residence permit. All degree students at Xamk are responsible for covering their own tuition fees and living expenses.
It is worthwile to note that housing in the campus towns is significantly more affordable than in the capital region (Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo).

FAQ
PGD programmes: applications for our PGD programmes are conducted by our authorised partners (education agents). Please refer to the programme specific website to find the contact information of the partners responsible for the programme.
Foundation Year programmes: The applicants may choose to apply individually by submitting the online application and all the required documents via the online application form, or with the help of our authorized partners who will also provide extensive guidance on the application procedure, entry requirements, preparation for relocation to Finland etc.
