Welcome to Xamk!
Xamk is a higher education institution offering studies in English in many different study fields. We have campuses in the towns of Kotka, Kouvola, Mikkeli and Savonlinna, all of which are located in the beautiful region of South-Eastern Finland. The Department of Health, Social Services, and Physical education in Savonlinna offers education, for instance, in nursing and social services. Nurse students from Xamk’s partner institutions are welcome to apply for exchange studies in Savonlinna.

Nurse exchange students on the Savonlinna Campus are offered a few theoretical courses in English.

Courses are completed on the Savonlinna campus by participating in the teaching of the international nursing programme. Please, note that course schedules may overlap. The courses are bilingual (Finnish and English). The number of the credits will be determined by how many theory and laboratory sessions you attend.
