Exploring Diverse Themes at Xamk’s RDI Day
Visitors explored engaging exhibits and activities representing all of Xamk’s areas of expertise and campus cities. The interactive stations offered hands-on experiences ranging from smart shorts to reflecting on one’s relationship with the future.
On stage, Vice President Kalevi Niemi opened the event, followed by Xamk staff pitching project ideas and sharing achievements from ongoing RDI initiatives. Guest speakers included Jenni Rajahalme with her talk “Generations at Work – A Collision Course or a Success Story?” and Aicha Manai with “Diversity in Work Communities – The Invisible and Visible Strength.”
The main goal of the RDI Day was to foster internal networking among Xamk employees and to provide insights into colleagues’ research and development work. Partners and stakeholders were also invited to join the day’s activities.
