DELTA

Data Industry ecosystem, business, and RDI value creation

The objective of the DELTA project is to strengthen the development of the ecosystem related to energy-intensive investments and digital infrastructure, ensuring that these investments are more closely connected to businesses, expertise, and RDI activities in the South Savo region.

DELTA brings together data industry stakeholders to build growth.

Why DELTA?

South Savo is attracting significant investments in data centers and digital infrastructure, but the benefits of these investments do not automatically translate into opportunities for local businesses without a systematic operating model and a well-functioning business network. The project addresses this challenge by developing practical operating models, networks, and tools that enable regional companies to participate more effectively in the value chains created by these investments.

The project will map and structure the data industry ecosystem in South Savo, identify its key actors, value chains, and development potential, and engage SMEs in emerging business opportunities within the data economy. At the same time, it will strengthen companies’ capabilities to participate in new supply and service chains, develop practical models that facilitate interaction between companies and data center operators, and identify business-driven RDI and piloting needs.
