In the years to come, thousands of Finnish companies will be facing a change in ownership. The goal of the project is to expand knowledge, recognize the need for skills and intensify network cooperation.

Key actions

1. Creating a service model for business transfer
We are creating and piloting a service model for business ownership transitions in Kymenlaakso region using service design methods in collaboration with a network of stakeholders.

2. Entrepreneurship education and training in ownership transfer processes
We increase understanding and skills in entrepreneurship and ownership transfer, produce information about buying a business and ownership change, and organize events for networking and encounters.

3. Regional coordination of business transfer
We develop an ownership change foresight model which links the skills needed for company ownership changes as part of regional skills anticipation.
