Spring Forum in Kotka sparked ideas and strengthened collaboration

The first day of the Spring Forum was dedicated to network meetings, while the second and third days consisted of parallel sessions, including workshops and panel discussions.

This year’s theme of the Spring Forum was “Finland of Promises – Making Internationalisation a Reality.” The sessions explored international affairs from multiple perspectives, including student mobility, education export and attracting international students to Finland, students’ integration into regions and working life, as well as the structures of European higher education.

The event, its arrangements and Xamk’s modern Kotka campus received a great deal of positive feedback from participants.

Next year, the responsibility for organising the Spring Forum will pass to LAB University of Applied Sciences and LUT University.
