CIRCAIDE
AI Assisted Circular Construction Coordinator
CIRCAIDE develops an AI-powered digital service that brings together and makes accessible information on buildings and building materials before demolition or construction begins. By enabling planners and builders to identify and consider reusable materials from the earliest project stages, the service helps reduce waste and supports more efficient reuse and recycling. Through cross-border collaboration in the Central Baltic region, CIRCAIDE promotes resource efficiency and more sustainable construction.
CIRCAIDE turns demolition-bound buildings into reusable resources

Smarter Use of Building Materials
The project will deliver a shared digital service that provides up-to-date information on buildings and materials before demolition and construction begin. The service will be piloted in real demolition projects in Kouvola and Tallinn to demonstrate how building components and materials can be more easily reused in new developments.
By making relevant information available early, the service enables better planning decisions and helps prevent unnecessary waste of usable materials. Through collaboration between organizations across countries, common practices will be developed and shared. In the long term, CIRCAIDE supports more resource-efficient construction and reduces waste across the Central Baltic region.
