Construction Engineering Most Popular in Xamk’s Supplementary Application
Among bachelor’s degree programmes, applicants were particularly interested in technology and health and social care fields. The most popular bachelor’s degree programmes were:

- Bachelor of Social Services, Elderly Care, part-time studies, Kouvola
- Bachelor of Business Administration, Business Management, full-time studies, Mikkeli
- Bachelor of Engineering, Energy Engineering, full-time studies, Kotka
Among master’s degree programmes, design studies were the most popular:
- Master of Culture and Arts, Service Design, part-time studies, Kouvola
- Master of Health Care and Social Services, Development of Data-based Wellbeing Services, part-time studies, Mikkeli
- Master of Culture and Arts, Sustainable Construction and Design, online studies
The supplementary application schedule is tight. Depending on the degree programme, the student selection process may include entrance examinations, pre-assignments, and interviews, which will be held in week 33. The results will be published soon afterwards, and studies will begin in autumn 2025.
The supplementary application round filled vacancies left after the spring joint application, with 20 study options available — 14 bachelor’s and 6 master’s programmes. One master’s programme, Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology, is taught in English; all others are in Finnish.
