I am driven by a desire to improve everyday life and to find new, better solutions to societal challenges. My research combines high scientific quality with practical impact. I believe that prevention is the foundation of sustainable healthcare, and promoting it requires interdisciplinary collaboration.
My areas of research include the physiological mechanisms of prolonged sitting, measurement and analysis technologies for physical activity, and randomized controlled intervention studies across different age groups—particularly among people with type 2 diabetes.

I work at Xamk in system and service development. I work as a coordinator and consultant in application development and help drive projects forward. I am also involved in a project related to artificial intelligence. In addition, as a service designer, I utilize service design methods in my work. I have also worked as an RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) specialist in the Savostamo project, where I designed and developed a digital tool about future professions for instructors, using service design principles. I have also worked as a teacher at Xamk, creating an online course on distributed work.
