The goal of the project is to develop Memory Campus into a registered European cluster

The main objective of the project is to develop the Memory Campus ecosystem into a European cluster. In the project: 1) Memory Campus will be registered as a cluster on the ECCP (European Cluster Collaboration Platform) platform 2) a plan will be drawn up to obtain a quality label for Memory Campus, meeting the bronze-level criteria set by EUCLES (European Cluster Labelling Excellence Structure).

The aim of the project is to promote the international activities, collaboration, and networks of Memory Campus and its actors as part of cluster work. The goal is to activate international cooperation and funding opportunities, strengthening RDI (Research, Development and Innovation) activities in line with the region’s strategic objectives. By accelerating RDI activities, the project addresses the objective of promoting international recruitment and attracting new talents to South Savo. By making Memory Campus actors and their operating model internationally known, the project promotes the initiation of RDI activities, the emergence of new business, and the export of technologies and services. In addition, support is provided for Memory Campus participation in international networks and events, and its own international event is organized. The aim of the project is also to serve the development of other ecosystems in the area towards stronger cooperation and vibrant clusters alongside Memory Campus.

The project promotes the digitalization of Memory Campus and its actors by strengthening networking, developing expertise in information management and supporting companies and organizations in processing, preserving and utilizing information.
