Business Administration degree programmes remain popular
Among the bachelor’s degree programmes, the most attractive options again this year were online studies in Business Administration: Information Technology and Logistics.
Other popular choices included the part-time studies in Forestry in Mikkeli, the online studies in Business Administration, and the part-time Emergency Care programme in Kotka.
Among the master’s degree programmes, the most popular was the Master of Business Administration programme focusing on HR, Communication and Leadership.
Other programmes on the list of the five most attractive master’s degrees included Cybersecurity, Future Work and Foresight Expertise, Information Management and Digital Archiving, and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Work – Research, Development and Leadership. All the most popular master’s programmes are delivered as online studies.
“It is significant that Xamk attracts applicants from all over Finland. This strengthens Xamk’s role as an appealing higher education institution in the region and shows that our programme offering is attractive and meets nationwide demand. It is also delightful that there were several new master’s programmes in this application round, many of which immediately rose to the list of the most popular programmes,” says Xamk’s Vice President, Education Katri Ryttyläinen-Korhonen.
