We continuously develop the quality of our education, research, development and innovation (RDI) activities, services, and support functions.
In addition to feedback, we enhance the quality of our operations through evaluations and assessments. We also participate in national evaluations of universities of applied sciences.
Xamk’s quality management system has successfully passed the national higher education audits conducted in 2021 and 2026.
Based on the most recent audit, Xamk was awarded the Quality Label of the Finnish Education Evaluation Centre (FINEEC), which is valid until 24 February 2033.
In the 2026 audit, Xamk received special recognition in two areas of strength: the management of research, development and innovation (RDI) activities and continuous learning. According to the audit report, the management of RDI activities is strategic, goal-oriented and data-driven. In addition, continuous learning is well planned, managed and implemented.
Our strategic goal is to stand out from other institutions especially with the quality of our education, up-to-date operations, RDI and internationality.
Our quality system corresponds to the European quality assurance principles and recommendations for higher education institutions according to the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).
