I am PhD in Social Sciences and I work as a senior researcher at Juvenia Centre of Youth Research and Development.

In addition to youth studies, my fields of expertise are social research on disability, cultural studies, working-life research and sociological studies on professionalism and expertise.

At Juvenia, I have studied e.g. the opportunities for participation of young persons with disabilities in youth sport activities and sport cultures, services of support for young people, digital youth work, and safety and resilience of young people amidst global crises. Additionally, I have participated in international development projects concerning e.g. digital safety of young people, and promoting skills of young people for social entrepreneurship.

I work in Quality Management in the KymiLabs research unit. The key areas of my work are:

• accreditation
• Notified Body activities and
• standardisation.

I have many years of experience and expertise, especially in the field of concrete quality assurance and research. I am involved in concrete industry working groups and believe in teamwork.

I also have training and expertise in renovation, which I can use to teach civil engineering.
