Master’s degree eligibility and degree titles
A multidisciplinary Master’s programme at Xamk offers flexible pathways for professionals from various educational backgrounds. While all Master’s level studies require a relevant prior degree and two years of post-graduation work experience, these programmes are specifically designed to accept a wide range of Bachelor’s degrees.
In many of our multidisciplinary programmes, you can apply regardless of your original field of study. This allows you to combine your existing professional expertise with new, high-level competencies in areas such as leadership, technology, or social and health care development.
Broad Eligibility: Some Master’s programmes require a very specific prior degree, while others accept several clearly defined prior degrees – and some accept any UAS Bachelor’s degree.
Your Degree Title: The title you receive upon graduation is usually determined by your previous degree and Xamk’s degree-awarding authority. In some specific programmes, every graduate receives the same degree title regardless of their background, focusing on the specific core competence of the programme.
