The project developes a working life based education solution in digitization for two education level; secondary education and continuous learning.

The project responds to the growing needs for skills in companies, municipalities, the well-being services of counties, public administration and in the GLAM (galleries, libraries, archives, and museums) sector.

Two separate but connected courses are planned together with the working life partners and offered twice each during the project:

1) Digitization professionals (Samiedu and National Archives Finland)

2) Digitization developers (Xamk and National Archives Finland).

The outcomes of the project include the developed study and work life paths, novel open badge in digitization, openly licensed training materials for conducting and developing digitization

~ 40 educated digitization developers and ~20 digitization professionals, a network of digitization experts and employers, as well as novel competence and skilled workers for everyone engaged in digitization. The digital skills are improved and employment possibilities enhanced. The digitization rate is increased and potential uses of previously analogous materials are extended.
