The project supports and develops the resilience and transformation capabilities in South Savo region.

LIIKE – Business reorientation and New Digital Leadership and Management -project is divided into two separate themes, which both have the same aim, to develop business’ resilience. The global pandemic raised some important notions in regard to business operations and practices, and leadership. Although the project does not intend to fix the damages of COVID-19, it still aims to help readiness to tackle external pressures for change.
Theme 1: Business reorientation -theme aims to develop resilience in micro businesses by offering training to develop business operations and practices, service portfolios, accessibility, etc. to enable continuity or growth.
Theme 2: New Digital Leadership and Management -theme offers leadership training and concrete tools to improve on leadership and management practices in both digital and hybrid working environments especially in organizations with specialized knowledge workers, thus improving the companies’ resilience.
Project aims and actions:
1. All companies participating in the project are interviewed to map out the current state of their business operations, working practices, knowledge of running a business, future plans, and other possible factors that may influence their operations.
2. Based on the conducted interviews, the companies are divided into smaller working groups, for which training services are purchased based on the common topic chosen for the team. Operating in smaller working groups better enables and improves networking, sharing information and experiences, and offers an opportunity to seek advice on questions on the entrepreneur’s mind.
3. In addition to the small working group training sessions, general lectures open to all participants will also be offered. These events widen the opportunities for networking in a digital environment across the board.
4. The project also compiles a set of survival success stories rising from both the global pandemic as well as other external challenges companies have faced. The survival success stories will be published on various forums with the intention of increasing hopefulness and innovativeness among entrepreneurs and business leaders and sharing insights of various opportunities to build a successful business, all the while not forgetting the role of hard work and making correct moves at the right time.
