Diversifying career paths

The project aims to lower the threshold and creating new options for applying and enrolling to college and university studies.

Without these project procedures, the focus group participants would be unlikely to advance to college/university paths.

The project utilizes art-oriented methods which can be used to strengthen participation and interaction and learn new skills that can be transferred to working life.

 

The project aims are:
1. To enhance the focus group’s equality regarding education and employment.

2. To support and increase the target organizations’ knowledge regarding employment challenges of incapacitated persons and immigrants.

3. To strengthen networking, co-operation and service provision. The goal is that the knowledge regarding available services reaches all those in need, and thus the gathered expertise helps identify the target group’s needs more comprehensively and guiding the target group towards needed services.

Open events

Thursday 7th of december, 1 PM-3 PM.
  • You are warmly welcome to hear more about Momentum project and it’s possibilities to offer help to you according to university studies and job hunting.
  • Let’s train our laughing muscles with Fabe, who is one of the two most funniest immigrants of Finland (Suomen hauskimmat mamut). He will entertain us by offering us fun moments at his gig.
  • Meet others and get to know each other: come and share your thoughts about your future hopes according to studies and getting a job.
  • You don’t need to sign up to this event beforehand.
