1,179 New Students Start at Xamk in January
New students are supported by a designated teacher responsible for their degree program, who introduces them to their upcoming studies. In addition, student tutors provide support for new students. Student tutors are students who have already started their studies, and they help new students become familiar with the university community and organize activities such as orientation and team-building events.
At Xamk, all students—both new and continuing—are supported by a comprehensive student well-being team, which includes specialists in student well-being, special education teachers, study psychologists, and physical activity experts. Each campus also has a designated chaplain, who is available for any kind of conversation. Xamk offers support for maintaining study ability through guidance, counseling, and sports services.
