How students are selected

In Master’s degree programmes, the admission is based on an interview where your study abilities, commitment and orientation for the field are evaluated.

Please see the admission criteria by degree programme on Studyinfo.fi (under Application process).

Admission is conditional

The admission is conditional until Xamk has checked the certificates used for applying (studies completed at another UAS than Xamk and the educational and work certificates related to master’s degree programmes) and that the required credit amount has been completed by the end of the semester.

The study place can be withdrawn if you have given false information. To make sure you don’t lose the study place, remember to accept it an enrol as student by the given deadline.

Enrolment as student

Enrol as an attending or non-attending student when accepting the study place offer. If your admission is conditional, you can enrol only when the condition has been met.
