Publications

You can read about know-how of the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences in our publication series.

The aim of publishing is to make the activities of the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Xamk) to be visible. Publications are published in all fields, including study and teaching materials, research and development as well as services. There are three different publication series and every one of these have their own profile:

• Xamk Research-series for research and scientific communitys
• Xamk Development -series for vocational community
• Xamk Inspiration -series for general public

Xamk publishing activities are direct by the Xamk publication group which consists both of the teaching staff and the research staff. Chairman of the publication group is the Library Director and the actions of publication is co-ordinated by Library Services.

In addition to the publication series, you can read about Xamk operation and results in two online journals – Next and READ. In addition to these, some of the projects tell about its results in the blog posting of projects.

Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences (Kyamk) and Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences (Mamk) merge at the beginning of 2017 to the South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences. Both universities of applied science had their own publication series. These you can find in the open reporitory Theseus.
