Hello ladies and gentleman!
To begin with I am really proud to be here and to stay in front of you speaking on behalf of XAMK’s graduating students. Today I am closing a big chapter of my life and getting my bachelor’s degree. Those three years just flew by.
When I was younger and traveling with my parents to Finland, we were visiting Mikkeli few times. Those days I was not able to predict that in 2015 I will move here to start my business education.
I was asked to tell something about expectations that I had before the first year and here we have a spoiler all my expectations were met. Mikkeli and XAMK provided me as a student with the perfect educational environment where I was able to grow as a professional. Thanks to our teachers for relaxed and friendly atmosphere on the lectures and of course for the numerous tasks that were close to real life business cases.

I am also grateful to the university that I was able to meet a lot of people who became an integral part of my life and whom I can call a real friends. I need to tell that despite the small size Mikkeli is probably the only city in the world where you can study and party throughout whole week. This combination is an answer to the question why is it so easy to socialize in Mikkeli just because everyone getting to know each other from the different angles.
Another thing that I really want to highlight is of course the exchange period. I would say that it is a perfect opportunity to go global. I know that a lot of people who studied in XAMK say that it is probably the most remarkable part of their education. I also stick to that opinion. Without XAMK probably I would never even think about going to South Korea but guess what I spent there a whole semester and it was unforgettable.
Today is not a thanksgiving day and we are nor in America but probably you already noticed that I am thankful for a wide variety of things and it is true.
Honestly those 3 years that I spent here are definitely the best years in my life so far. Here I was able to create, to study, to meet people, to internationalize and to realize my potential.
