Indian Kritika Chopra studied an online course on Leadership with Xamk Open University in the Spring of 2019.
24-year-old Kritika has a Master´s degree in Business Administration and she is currently working with a start-up Semalytix (world leader in machine learning solutions for pharma) in Germany. With Xamk Open University of Applied Sciences (OUAS) Kritika took an online course on Leadership: “I was interested to understand how leaders across borders and cultures lead in a complex, cross-border, multicultural environment”, she tells us, “The reputation of the University and unique course approach motivated me to choose Xamk”, Kritika concludes.

Kritika found the Leadership course exceeding her expectations. The course students engaged in authentic online dialogue that brought a variety of real life perspective and experience forward. Kritika tells us she found course contents useful: “One valuable experience I learned is that in addition to making big decisions, leadership is about taking tiny steps of initiative and empowerment.” Kritika says she has been able to take course lessons to practice in her daily routine: “At work, I try to recall my learnings before taking decisions. I try to reflect on different possibilities based on what I´ve learned.”
Kritika was content with the way the Xamk OUAS online course was organized:

In the future, Kritika aspires to develop herself further as a Business Leader. She acknowledges the meaning of continuing learning in today’s woking life: “I believe that every day brings a new opportunity to start and add knowledge about something old or new.”
